What’s been happening:

Penn State gave me the foundation to build the my career. I learned skills there that I still put into use today. Starting in food services I took those skills and moved into healthcare consulting. It was a great career that spanned some 20 years. I then became a financial advisor which is the profession I am in now and intend to be until I retire some time in the next 15 years. I am currently becoming active in my alumni association in Florida. As a footnote, as I paid my own way through college I frequently wondered whatif? What if I went to an Ivy League College or a private college. Would I have been better off? I don't believe so, I feel I received an excellent education at Penn State and got to eat great ice cream while I did it:)
